Relaxation on Minimum balance, and Bank ATM withdrawals will expire on 30th June

Due to the COVID pandemic, Banks had provided relaxation in many of their services. Such as minimum balance and in ATM withdrawals. This relaxation was available for 3 months till 30th June. Now, since the time duration is about to end, these will be back on the track.

State Bank of India (SBI) had waived off the service charges for all ATM transactions made on SBI same was done by other banks. “In view of the announcement made by Finance Minister on March 24, State Bank of India has decided to waive ATM charges for all ATM transactions made on SBI ATMs and other bank ATMs on account of exceeding the free number of transactions up to 30th June, ” SBI had made an announcement on its official website.

SBI gives free 8 transactions for the ATM withdrawals after which it charges for each transaction. Similarly, most of the bank has prescribed limit varying from 5000-10,000. These will also be applicable starting from 1st July 2020.

Apart from this The debit card charges will also be applicable on all the transactions made after 1st July.
