How to withdraw EPF Online- read it here

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the labour ministry has allowed their EPF subscribers to withdraw a specific portion of their retirement savings with immediate effect due to the COVID-19 lockdown.

The country, India is under the 21 day lockdown right now and due to this, the pension fund will be given within three days. However, make sure that your Aadhar is linked with UAN as you only can withdraw money if it is done.

1- Firstly, go to the UAN portal.

2- Then you need to use your login details.

3- Then go to the online services and click on the claim form.

4- There, member details will be showing. You need to enter the last 4 digit of your bank account and then click on verify.

5- If done, proceed further.

6- Now click on the PF advance from 31 and then from the drop down list, you need to select the reason. Do select outbreak of pandemic COVID only.

7- Then fill the details about how much you need.

8- If not done, the 75% or your 2 month salary, whichever is low will be taken and given to you. Once done, your account will get credited.

By following this, you will be able to withdraw the money and use it.

Note that it is your own money and not something given by government. So it will be deducted from your EPF account only.
