Dhanlaxmi Bank chairman resigns 8 months before end of tenure

One of the famous Kerala based private sector bank Dhanlaxmi Bank has said on Monday that their part time chairman and the independent director, Sanjeev Krishnan has resigned from his role. However, around eight months of his duty is still left.

The bank said that he has resigned due to personal reasons and it will come on effect from 29th June. He has made a turn around in the bank and has made the profit of ₹65.78 crore in the financial year.

Sanjeev Krishnan said- “I was appointed for a very specific purpose, which I now think I have been able to achieve and therefore did not want to continue in my post,”
